MARCH ORBIT
girlbossing around the sun for another month
A SELECTION OF MOVIES I WATCHED IN MARCH ~
Sentimental Value (2025)
I really enjoyed this. I think the depiction of depression was awfully relatable, exploring a unique angle that I haven’t really seen before.
Alien (1979)
I actually liked this more than I thought I would. I have to admit the cat was my favourite character though.
Close (2022)
This was so so beautiful and heartbreaking. The kind of film that needs to be watched in complete silence, I found myself thinking about Leo and Remi for hours afterwards.
The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
I hate to say it but I think this is my least favourite Wes Anderson film. Although I appreciated the aesthetic visuals (goes without saying) it felt chaotic but not in a good way.
Sorry Baby (2025)
This was the perfect way of displaying vulnerability without emotionally drowning the viewer.
Train Dreams (2025)
The cinematography of this film was stunning, and I can’t help but draw parallels with Manchester by the Sea (2016).
COOL THINGS I’VE DONE THIS MONTH ~
saw Reneé Rapp in London!!!
went to Edinburgh with my friend Evie
did a seance (don’t ask)
PLAYLISTS I’VE HAD ON REPEAT ~
its been a rough month, okay.

The cat is 100% the best character in Alien
Finally, someone who finds Grand Budapest Hotel a bit too chaotic! I thought it was just me. This whole orbit feels like a safe space for overthinkers. Subscribed and looking forward to more!
